The Knitwits

The Knitwits

The Knitwits are knitting and crocheting scarves to send down to Eastern Kentucky through St. Vincent Mission. St Vincent Mission has been sharing Christian values and providing services since 1968. Their services include food pantry, clothing, household items, and emergency assistance. For more information their website is www.stvincentmission.org. Please check our scarves displayed in the coffee room. If anyone has leftover yarn they wish to donate, please see Carol Edwards or email me at knitwit@woh.rr.com. Thanks! We also knitted and crocheted hats, scarves, and prayer shawls for the Relay for Life.

Helping Hands Ministry

Helping Hands Ministry

This outreach ministry at Living Water is designed to meet the needs for home maintenance and/or minor repairs for those who are unable to keep up with the demands of maintaining their residence. Click here for more information.  These services are free and available to Living Water disciples and anyone else in the south Dayton community. This ministry provides an excellent “hands on” opportunity for us to spread the love of Christ to those around us. Tasks include such things as leaf raking, hedge trimming or other yard work, interior and exterior painting, and minor repairs. Anyone interested in becoming involved in this ministry is requested to contact Nelson Grover (nhgman@yahoo.com) or Bob Lillie (rlillie@woh.rr.com).
